Cover girl

An hour or so ago I finished up my photo shoot for the cover of aq Magazine. Over the summer I did a phone interview with the magazine for an article about co-op. Then I found out that they wanted myself and another co-op student to be on the cover! How exciting. I was actually pretty nervous, but it went pretty well. I will post a link when the issue comes out.

Back to life, back to reality

Well, things are starting to feel a bit more settled now. The last two weeks have been pretty hectic. I've been unpacking, looking for a car, finishing up my co-op project, trying to figure out my finances and scholarships, hanging out with friends and family, and . . . oh yeah, going to school.

But I have a car now. A 1995 Nissan Sentra that we like to call "Barney" (it's purple). It wasn't running when we bought it, so I was a little apprehensive. However, my dad worked on it this week and now it's running great. It's so nice to have that problem solved. I will post some pics soon. I'm planning to switch to a new format for displaying my photos, so I will hopefully have that set up soon.

Right now I'm trying to get caught up with all my readings. I'm taking 5 courses this semester and am already way behind. Why fret though, it's like that every semester.

I'm back baby!

I flew back to Vancouver today. I had a great time in Ottawa this summer, but it sure is nice to be home. More about the my last few escapades back east to come. First, I need some sleep.
