Heading east

I have some more exciting news. I got a four-month co-op job as a Communications Assistant with the Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency in Hull. So I will be living in Ottawa this summer!

Co-op award update

I arrived home from school last night to find a beautiful bouquet of flowers on my kitchen table. The VCHA Communications Team, one of my former co-op employers, sent it to congratulate me for winning the co-op award. What a nice gesture. Now I feel really special. :)

Co-op Student of the Year

I have some good news. Some very good news. Today I found out that I have been awarded the 2002 CAFCE Co-op Student of the Year Award. I'm pretty excited about this, as it is a national award (meaning I was competing with co-op students from across Canada). It was just announced today, so I will keep you posted on what's happening.

Crunch and all that jazz

Well, I unfortunately have some bad news. I got into a car accident this week. No serious injuries, but the doctor said I have whiplash and soft tissue injuries (mainly affecting my left hand/wrist, knees and neck). I'll survive though. I will have to figure out my car situation soon - thank goodness my mom has been kind enough to share her vehicle with me for the time being.

Also, I saw Chicago last weekend. Catherine Zeta Jones was fantastic. I laughed when Richard Gere started to sing though.
